Our services include airport, hotel, home, pick-ups & drop-offs; sightseeing, shopping, and many more. Also have access to the Naval Base. We work on a first come, first serve basis but reservations are welcomed as well.
Arrived in Guam half past 3pm last August 27 on a UA flt from Manila. From the airport a rode a unit operated Independent Taxi driven by another Filipino. Somewhere along the route to my hotel(Tamuning Plaza) my cellular phone slipped out of my back pocket. I was unaware of the fact and only realized it was not in my possession as I settled in my room. That very afternoon I repeatedly tried calling their nos. I got from the internet till one finally answered. I informed the person on the other end of the problem and was assured that he would get back to me, he never did. I had to call the following morning to be informed that one driver who had a fare to the same hotel found no phone in his rear seat and that he still had not heard from their other drivers from the day before. It was only an Iphone 4s with a broken cover, but the pictures of my son that were in it were to me priceless. I hope they go out of their way to assist me in this matter because I am reasonably certain that i lost my phone in that taxi. I hope that their claim of honesty and reliability will be borne out by their actions
24/7? Nobody answering any of these phone numbers at 12:00 noon on a Saturday.
Allan or ARod, you were a good customer of mine. I must have picked you up more than a dozen times. You just got a little too demanding. I honestly did not appreciate your profanity when I was about 5 minutes late for your pick-up that one night. In the beginning I always tell my customers that they should call at least an hour in advance, especially if they are on the naval base. As you may know, most cabs do not have access to the
base. Locating one near that area is close to impossible. That friday I was extremely busy. We have different numbers you can call. Why were you trying to call my personal #? No cabbie deserves to be treated the way you treated me. Now you come on here trying to give a negative review just to retaliate…hmm
Called “Melvin” from Polaris Point at 0910 am Friday morning and he was “just getting up. I asked him to find me a another cab as they have more then one cab – obviously. he called me back and said nobody was answering their phones. Called him back again shortly after 12pm (4 times) in the afternoon and Melvin did not answer his phone. Tried him calling him back again at 4:10 pm and again this company would not answer the phone. This company (although their rates are reasonable) is not reliable and I WOULD NOT recommend them.
We are currently the only cab company that has access to Naval Base Guam.
I had a good experience with them. The pickup was on time and I think the price was fair. The driver was exceptionally friendly.
I have had this service (Independent Taxi Association) once during my visit at the island. And I’m sure I got a fair price then, plus my driver was really nice.
I’m one of the drivers of this company and we’ve been around for many years and have built great relationships with our customers. Please don’t confuse us with another taxicab company with a similar name. We are based at the Guam International Airport and rarely pick-up customers in tumon. Anna, your review would be more helpful if you can properly identify the cab and driver, date and time of this incident.

Do not use this Taxi Company they over charged me! I was charged $60.00 from Tumon by Club Denial to NBG while another Taxi Company that is owned by a vet only charges $40.00 and get this his Meter was way over $60 and the driver was trying to play it like i was getting a discount! I will never use this company again!
